Woke up and dug right into the little quilt kit that Downy sent me. It is so darling! I petted it the whole time I sewed it. Makes me want little grandbabies so that I can make them quilts. (my son would roll his eyes at that!) It has the cutest zoo animals on it so am going to name it, "The Zoo comes to you!" Aren't baby quilts the very best? And this one will be great for learning those first animal words! My two-year-old granddaughter loves nothing better than repeating words in books, now I think I should make her a quilt so we can say "elephant" and "giraffe" over and over!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilts I made when she was born, but now the fun of association of words is her favorite activity... Maybe it is time for another, slightly bigger quilt with animals for her to name!
